More about Buddy Walk - Sydney...
What could be better than spending a glorious day by Sydney Harbour with family and friends - all for a fantastic cause?!

With over 1000 walkers expected to participate this year, Buddy Walk Sydney is part of a national celebration that recognises National Down Syndrome Awareness Week, 16-22nd October. Commencing in Circular Quay and crossing the city’s magnificent “coat hanger” on Sunday 16th October, Buddy Walk aims to raise the level of understanding and inclusion of people with Down syndrome in the community, as well as celebrate Australian families.

Extending an invitation to one and all, Buddy Walk Sydney will take place on Sunday 16th October 2011, commencing outside Customs House in Sydney's Circular Quay at 9.30am. It will cross the Sydney Harbour Bridge to conclude in a beautiful harbour side picnic at Bradfield Park, where free entertainment (including roaming performers, musicians and dance performances!) is sure to delight!

Buddy Walk is a fun day out for the whole family, and best of all, it's FREE! Registration for Buddy Walk is recommended, and fundraising for programs for people with Down syndrome is encouraged, with the emphasis on “fun‟!

Click here to set up a Buddy Walk Hero page and see how easy and fun it is to fundraise to improve opportunities for children and adults with Down syndrome

We'll see you there!
