Take the Scrapheap Adventure Ride Challenge yourself!

Buy a Bike for less than $1000 - any road registered motorcycle . Do it up however you like.

Make a (suggested) $100 tax deductible donation to register. Set up your scrapheap challenge webpage (only takes a minute), add photos, blog entries, etc so your friends can check out your machine and sponsor your ride. 

Ride from your place to meet up with our other Scrapheapers at the Wanaaring Pub (200 km west of Bourke) on Easter Saturday.
 
Even if you can't enter the event officially (left your run too late this year), everyone is welcome to join us at the Wanaaring Pub on Easter Saturday, the 3rd of April by whatever bike or vehicle you choose. 

Rules:

  • Start with a bike which cost less than $1000
    Spend any additional sums on the bike to make it roadworthy, all machines participating must be registered
    Make sure it is road registered
  • Register online - $100 suggested entry donation (all proceeds direct to DS NSW)  Click here to register
  • You can raise additional funds through sponsorship of your ride - eg dollars/ cents per km. Click here to create your adventure page and start fundraising.

Award/trophy voted by the attendees for: 

  • Best bike
  • Most unusual bike
  • Longest distance
  • Most funds raised
  • Hard Luck award

See what weird bikes will turn up!  From 1970’s 4’s to Old 2 stroke trailies - even postie bikes are allowed.
