Special Olympics Inner West region dance groups, 2010. Participants must register with Special Olympics to join in the regular program.

- a new dance group in Artarmon: Saturday afternoons from 2.30pm to 4.30pm. during school terms, in Artarmon (Sydney). Everyone is welcome, all ages, boys and girls.Classes expected to start by the end of February 2009.

DanceAbility - Eastern Suburbs
"To enrich the lives of children and adults through dance and music"
This is an exciting opportunity for children and adults with intellectual or physical disabilities to learn to dance. You will have an opportunity to experience a variety of dance styles - Hip Hop, Tap, Jazz, Line Dancing and Ballroom.

4-7 year olds: 4.00pm - 4.45pm

DanceOolites - Lower Blue Mountains
A dance group for children and adolescents of varying disabilities
Class will be held at Glenbrook on Thursdays beginning at 4.00pm
We aim to provide a merry and nurturing environment, where, hopefully, over time participants will develop friendships, learn new social skills, improve coordination, self esteem and self concept through social interaction, dance and movement. It is anticipated that most parents/caregivers will remain at the hall during class sessions (at least initially) to assist with supervision/dancing unless other arrangements are made with the dance teacher.

Lower North Shore Dance Group for high school age kids with special needs
The classes will be held at Kick Performance Group at Naremburn. Boys welcome! The dance style will be modern (jazz/hip hop) depending on the group. It is definitely dance, not just exercise.
