
Professional Education for Teachers
Down Syndrome NSW offers a range of one-day workshops and seminar events for preschool, primary and secondary teachers and other school personnel across NSW each year. Each of the events is advertised on this website (under the What's On? menu, in our monthly Update, and by email to schools in the relevant region.

We do not currently have the capacity to visit schools individually, but teachers are welcome to call on 9841 4401 support@dsansw.org.au to communicate with our Information and Support staff, and staff of schools that are DS NSW members can borrow from our library.
Down Syndrome Education International offers online professional education for teachers, as stand-alone "webinars" or as a course, at very reasonable fees. SOme research seminars are offfered without charge. Click here for details and bookings
Affiliate (Group) membership of Down Syndrome NSW
Schools are welcome to take out an Affiliate (Group) membership of Down Syndrome NSW, giving access to our library of books, periodicals, videos and other materials, member discounts for events, multiple copies of periodicals, and other membership services. Application forms are available here.
